Aaron Olson founded dbao in 2015 to work directly with clients to design their dream homes. With degrees in both history and architectural technology, Aaron excels in creating bespoke designs that are transformative for clients and fit within context - whether city, suburban, pastoral or waterfront.
Aaron draws upon his unique breadth and depth of knowledge developed through long-standing relationships with premier builders and design-build firms, as well as his own woodworking expertise and prior construction experience. Aaron honed his skills working for a well-known architectural firm and currently collaborates with a variety of professionals including structural engineers and interior designers.
Homeowners and colleagues alike recognize dbao for providing detailed elegant plans that pave the way for a smooth construction process and stand the test of time. The firm is based in Richmond, Virginia with clients across the commonwealth.
