Oceanfront Cottage

Our clients dreamed of a vacation home and building memories with their children and grandchildren. They had initial thoughts of renovating the compromised structure on their oceanfront property, but it became clear that demolition and building from scratch was the best path forward. Along with creating a design tailored to their needs and vision, dbao worked closely with the city and a team of engineers to comply with with strict regulations (height, lot coverage, and impervious area limitations). The shingle-style cottage is now the family’s beloved home away from home.
